Who else would I be?
Happy Birthday GD#1
Being yourself means you like who you are. Being yourself means living life how you want to live it, regardless of other people's opinions. And it means you respect yourself. Don't worry about what others think. You can't control them or their thoughts.
I do and I am to the best of my ability being myself every day. I do not always succeed at this but I do try.
The problem though is that myself really isn't a nice person though some people seem to think I am. I am a self-centred, lazy ass bitch most of the time. I just interact with people outside my home as little as possible so they only see the best of me. It saves time and misunderstandings when I speak without considering any of the unspoken politics we live with every day if I am not around people who provoke me.
That may seem like a cowards way of dealing with thought and behaviours that are not of the "Societal Normal". But again it saves a lot of hassle. For me at least. It is a saving grace I suppose that way people only see the happy, helpful me not the bitch.
Does any of this make sense to you? No me neither! I am running on a nearly empty tank thanks to a recent bout of insomnia so it will have to do for this week.
Enjoy the day!
